Buffalo lands Georgia DL

Terrance Waugh took an official visit to Buffalo last weekend and he saw enough to make his commit a few days later.

"I chose Buffalo because, for one, that is a place I could go and make a big impact," Terrance Waugh told Scout. "Some programs are struggling and I want to be one that contributes to a programs success.

"When I went on my official visit [last weekend], I immediately felt the love. I can tell when someone is trying to mess with me and I felt they were very up front with me.

"I loved the campus, the weight room, and their emphasis on academics stood out to me."

The 6-foot-3, 230 pound defensive end out of McDonough (Ga.) Henry County has trust in the coaches he will be suiting up for at Buffalo.

"I feel the staff have the best interest in me," he said.

Buffalo star Khalil Mack also caught his attention.

"One of the biggest factors for me was meeting Khalil. I did not know who he was until I went up there and he is on track to enter the NFL Draft. He is someone I could compare myself to and he has set a bar up there that I want to meet."
